Homemaking services can make even the healthiest elderly person’s life much easier but for seniors with more life challenges it can be critical to keeping them safely and comfortably living in their own homes longer. As Homemaking Services help maintain an orderly, clean, healthy and safe environment there is often a reduced risk of tripping and falling due to hazards created by clutter. The Kennedy Center’s Homemaker Service provides well trained staff who implement individualized homemaking services plans that are tailored to the needs of each customer.

Below is a representative listing of the services that we routinely provided:

• Planning, Preparing, and Serving Health and Balanced Meals
• Defrosting Refrigerators
• Shopping For Food and Household Supplies
• Making and Changing Beds
• Dusting and Vacuuming
• Cleaning Bathroom and Kitchen
• Washing Dishes
• Laundry and Ironing
• Washing Floors  

Additional services that fall within the homemaking service area may be added as needed.

The Kennedy Center accepts a variety of payment methods for its Homemaking Services including private “fee-for-service” payments.
