The Charlestown Family Engagement Network partners with families of young children ages birth through eight and community stakeholders to promote children’s learning, development, school readiness, and success. We provide FREE ​programs that connect families to high-quality early learning programs for their children that:​

• • • Promote parent education, family engagement, and early literacy;

    • Provide transition supports to families with children moving between and among early education settings, home, and school

    • Increase families’ awareness of child development and age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate activities that promote school readiness

    • Foster social-emotional and competencies in children

    • Build parent leadership skills
